Playground Equipment Installation Guidelines

Proper installation ensures the safety and longevity of our products. We offer two primary installation methods: self-standing and grouting. Follow these guidelines carefully to ensure a secure and stable installation.

Installation Methods
  • Self-Standing
  • Self-Standing Installation Image In this method, the base plates of the equipment are directly fastened to the concrete surface using anchor bolts. This type of installation is generally done on podiums and terraces where the surface available is Plain Cement Concrete (PCC). Ensure minimum PCC thickness of 180 mm.
  • Grouting
  • Grouting Installation Image This method is generally preferred when the proposed area is on ground level. Holes of approximately 1.5' x 1.5' x 1.5' (450 mm x 450 mm x 450 mm) are dug, and the equipment base pipes are placed in the holes. The holes are then filled with concrete to ensure a solid base.

Pre-Installation Guidelines

Before you begin the installation process, it's essential to follow these pre-installation guidelines to ensure a smooth and efficient setup:

  • Site Preparation
  • Ensure the proposed area is clear of any rocks, debris, or other obstructions.
  • Check that the site is correctly leveled.
  • Provide proper drainage to avoid accumulation of water.
  • Foundation Markings
  • Make accurate markings as per the foundation drawings provided.
  • Ensure the depth of PCC is as per the given standard depth.
  • Material Handling
  • Ensure proper material handling equipment is available on site.
  • Provide lifts in case the installation is on terraces or podiums.
  • Review Installation Drawings
  • Read the installation drawings provided to familiarize yourself with the installation methods.
